William C. Kaufman, III, a native of Lake Charles, Louisiana was admitted to the bar in 1967. Since that time, Mr. Kaufman has engaged in an active litigation practice in the areas of Commercial Litigation, Products Liability Defense, Medical Malpractice Defense, Professional Liability Defense and Insurance law. Mr. Kaufman is admitted to practice before all Louisiana State and Federal Courts and the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeal. Mr. Kaufman is a retired Colonel, Armor, in the United States Army Reserve and is of counsel with the firm.
Mr. Kaufman is a member of the Baton Rouge Bar Association, Louisiana State Bar Association, and the Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel.
Mr. Kaufman has been actively involved with the state bar association, is a former member of the Louisiana State Bar Association’s Technology Committee, and has also served as an Assistant Bar Examiner for the Louisiana Supreme Court.
Mr. Kaufman is a member of Omicron Delta Kappa National Leadership Honor Society and the Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity.
