Frank A. Fertitta, a native of Alexandria, Louisiana, was admitted to the bar in 1967, and served as Captain in the U.S. Army from 1967 to 1969. Mr. Fertitta was a Senior Partner in Lane, Fertitta, Janney & Thomas engaged in over thirty years of active litigation practice (over 150 trials) in the areas of Casualty, Products Liability, Medical Malpractice, Professional Liability and Insurance law.
He participated in numerous mediations as an advocate, and now he is a qualified mediator with the Mediation Arbitration Professional Systems, Inc. (MAPS) organization. He has lectured extensively in fields of litigation, ethics, insurance law, and trial practice in numerous Continuing Legal Education programs including those sponsored by the Louisiana State Bar Association, the Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel, American Inns of Court, and the Baton Rouge Bar Association. Mr. Fertitta is a partner with the firm.
